The prime minister’s wife Rosmah Mansor has admitted that, like the rest of the nation, she too is clueless as to when the 13th general election will be called.

According to Bernama, despite being the closest person to Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, she said her husband has yet to inform her on the matter.

NONE"I do not know when the election will be held. I thought he (Najib) would say something in his sleep, but he didn't,” she joked when opening the 13th annual general meeting of Pahang Al-Wardah Welfare and Education Club in Kuantan today.

Rosmah also spoke of her trip to Gaza, Palestine, with her husband, in which she stressed that Malaysians should be grateful for the peace and prosperity they enjoy today, Bernama reported.

"I was made to understand that, in Gaza, when the children want to go to school, their mothers will kiss and hug them tightly, and sometimes even cry before letting them go. Why is that?

"It's because they are not sure that their children will return," she had said.

Therefore, she urged the people to be rational and not emotional in casting their votes in the forthcoming general election, and not allow themselves to be duped by certain quarters.
