'Change in administration can cause economic upheaval'

"As a result of drastic changes that cannot be controlled, the value of currency will drop, there will be inflation, tourism will be crippled and the security of the country will not be guaranteed," Najib said, without directly referring to Malaysia.
According to Bernama , the premier, who had just arrived in Alor Setar today for a one-day working visit, assured the people that only BN can ensure the country’s growth in various sectors to enhance the income of the people and country.
"We can make systematic changes and people have the confidence in us.
"When there are big investments, the government's revenue will increase and we can use the surplus funds for the benefit of the people.
"We give out BR1M, assistance to school children, university students... that is only for now. We can do more in the future if given the mandate by the people,” he said, referring to the coming general election.
BN’s success in administrating is proven, he reportedly said, citing his recent visit to Gaza, Palestine, as an example.
There, he was welcomed him “with open arms”, he claimed, as “ they (Palestine) are aware of the success enjoyed by Malaysia under BN”.
