A sand quarry manager was charged at the Kuala Lumpur Magistrates Court today, with the murders of two bouncers at a night club last year.

J Tharmarajah, 38, and another man still at large, were charged with killing Mohd Akmal Jemain and Muhammad Noor Firdaus, both 22, at Jalan Doraisamy, Dang Wangi between 4.30 and 5am on Aug 26 2012.
Tharmarajah faces the mandatory death sentence upon conviction under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
No plea was recorded however and magistrate Nur Azura Murah fixed March 22 for the mention.
Prosecuting officer chief inspector Muhamad Sapri Yaakub handled the prosecution, while the accused was represented by lawyer S Prakash.
Previous media reports had stated that the bouncers were shot dead by a man within a group said to have flown into a rage for not being allowed into the club.
