The volatility of Felda Global Venture (FGV) share prices is partly caused by the various slanders hurled by Pakatan Rakyat, claimed Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Ahmad Maslan.
He said the opposition has been longing for the failure of the FGV and would be the “happiest persons” if it happens.
“The opposition does not like to see the success of FGV, and their slanders have more or less affected the investor sentiment.
“They are really heinous,” said the Umno information chief when asked about the recent plunge of the FGV share price on Monday, which hit a new low of RM4.36, breaching its initial public offering price (IPO) of RM4.55.
He said this during a press conference after witnessing the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between Permodalan YBK Sdn Bhd and Paragon Matrix Sdn Bhd to develop the Serendah Wellness Sanctuary.
