MP admits calling for Khalid's resignation over altar debacle

Kapar MP S Manikavasagam has confirmed MIC’s allegation that he had called for the resignation of Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, but insisted that the Barisan Nasional component party had “twisted” his words.

However, S Manikavasagam says he only meant the MB must do so if he fails to penalise the local council officers.
