Information, Communications and Culture Minister Dr Rais Yatim today advised the people to forget their intention of changing the government in the coming general election.
Information, Communications and Culture Minister Dr Rais Yatim today advised the people to forget their intention of changing the government in the coming general election.
Instead, he urged them to help realise the government's transformation programme.
"The transformation being carried out by (Prime Minister) Najib Abdul Razak is for the good of us all.
"We have rich national assets and social treasures. Don't simply change them," he told reporters after launching the 55th anniversary celebration of the Malaysian National Archives in Kuala Lumpur today.
He shared former DAP vice-chairperson Tunku Abdul Aziz Tunku Ibrahim's view on the danger if the people were to experiment by changing government without giving it a fair and careful consideration.
Tunku Abdul Aziz, in a statement today, said some people wanted a change in the government because they were taken in by the promises and slander made by the opposition.
