'According to Pakatan consensus, only Anwar is PM'

He said this when asked to respond to the PAS Dewan Ulama
resolution
expresed during the Islamic party's recent general assembly that party president Abdul Hadi Awang be made PM if Pakatan wins in the 13th general election.
"They have a right to say that... but in Pakatan, we always return to the consensus that was agreed (on)," said Lim ( right ), who is also Bagan MP, when met by reporters in the Parliament lobby today.
And that consensus, said Lim, is that Anwar is to be the prime minister if they take over Putrajaya.
"Since no other discussion was made on who is to be PM, we stand by that," he stressed.
His sentiment was shared by PKR deputy-president Azmin Ali who said that there are many more ministerial seats to be filled in the event of a Pakatan win.
"While I respect the opinion of the PAS Dewan Ulama, I think we shouldn't fight over this issue... there are many other positions".
He said that whatever the case, Pakatan must always return to their principle of consensus and abide with collective decision at the coalition level.
Meanwhile, Deputy Finance Minister Donald Lim said that who is to be PM is up to the rakyat, based on who they give the parliamentary majority to.
"As far as we are concerned... under the Malaysian law…whichever MP can be the PM, is he who enjoys the support of the majority of the MPs. (It is) Not up to me to comment, it’s up to the rakyat’s decision…those supporting him, they have to touch their heart before they vote," he said cryptically.
The PAS Dewan Ulama caused a mini-uproar last week as it moved for Hadi ( above ) to assume the premiership in the event that the opposition were to take over the federal government.
The movement's statement causing discomfiture in Pakatan and became propaganda fodder for BN-controlled media.
