Three policemen have been remanded for investigation into a report lodged by a foreign national who claimed that she was forced to have sex with them.

Penang police chief Abdul Rahim Hanafi, when contacted today, confirmed that the suspects would be in remand for seven days.

"We will not protect the policemen if it is proven they are involved," he told Bernama.

The woman, aged 25, claimed that she was forced to have sex with the three policemen during questioning at a police station.
