A PKR Kuala Selangor division committee member wants to lodge a report with the police and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) over the division’s financial report.

) for the post of division chief, complained that the division’s financial report for 2010 was not tabled at the division annual general meeting (AGM) yesterday.
“(At last year’s AGM), the report was delayed till the next year (2012) because there were mistakes in the report, and the division head had agreed to do an independent audit.
“But after a year it has not been done. Now the report from two years back has to be further pushed to 2013,” said Mazli when contacted yesterday after the AGM.
He alleged that the division chairperson had proceeded with the AGM despite protests over the matter of the financial report.
“I will discuss this with other members and I want to make a report with the police and MACC, and I will take this to the top level,” he said.
‘Notice of meeting not sent’
Mazli also alleged that the division headed by Khalid contravened the party constitution by not sending out a notice of meeting to division members.
The party constitution requires a notice to be sent out 30 days prior to the AGM.
“Notice was sent only to certain members,” he added.
The same issue over the financial report triggered a commotion during the division AGM last October.
The issue arose when several members questioned the authenticity of the signature on the report at the AGM.
Mazli (left) was Khalid’s rival for Kuala Selangor division chief in 2010 and lost to the MB after garnering only 122 votes to Khalid’s 722.
Meanwhile Khalid, while officiating the AGM yesterday at Dewan Harmoni Ijok, said that some PKR members still found fault with the party and doubted the viability of the Pakatan opposition coalition.
According to a Bernama report, Khalid said during his opening speech, “I admit this is happening, and it is because the members concerned are more after their own interests.
"This is not right, as we should show more maturity towards attaining the party's goals.”
