, said the board was looking into the matter further to ensure the safety of the public before making a final decision.
The board advised the public not to make any assumptions pending an official statement, he said.
He also said that those who intended to use the pendants should refer to the manufacturers on their proper use.
Raja Abdul Aziz said the board was clarifying a statement issued by the Consumers Association of Penang (CAP) on Sept 5 claiming that the board had banned the use of several brands of radioactive pendants.
