A high ranking military officer was alleged to have become a road bully, after assaulting a public servant, over a road dispute, according to a local Chinese daily.

The 50-year-old officer with a datukship had reportedly gone out driving an imported luxury car on Sept 10 with his wife for company.
At around 3pm the victim's car overtook the officer's on the KL-Seremban highway near the Mines Shopping Centre in Sungai Besi apparently riling the latter.
The Nanyang Siang Pau report said that the furious officer gave chase to the civil servant for 20km to a restaurant near Bandar Tun Hussein Onn in Cheras.
The officer pulled out a golf club before storming into the restaurant and whacked the victim on the head, leaving it swollen and red with injuries.
During the assault, the military officer also reportedly cursed his victim, scolding him for overtaking and blocking his way. He also apparently shouted "Go die".
The civil servant, around 30, lives in Kuala Lumpur. At that time, he was driving with his wife for dinner.
Kajang OCPD Abdul Rashid Abdul Wahab ( above ) yesterday confirmed the incident, saying that police had began investigation under Section 324 of the Penal Code, for voluntarily causing hurt with dangerous weapons or means.
According to sources, the officer, summoned by the police, presented himself at the Kajang police station in full military uniform to have his statement recorded.
While being questioned, the officer was still boiling with anger.
Police have completed their investigation and submitted their report to the DPP for further action.
