The DAP-led Penang government has yet to decide whether to dissolve the state legislative assembly simultaneously with the dissolution of Parliament for the next general election, Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said today.
He said it was still too early to make the decision though there had been discussions on the matter among the top leadership of the Pakatan state government.
"We will only announce the final decision when Parliament is dissolved. Let's wait for the prime minister to dissolve Parliament first," he said.
Lim spoke to reporters after attending the Hari Raya open house of the Penang Development Corporation in George Town.
