The Civil High Court in Kuala Lumpur today struck out the RM2 million defamation suit by Pasir Mas MP Ibrahim Ali against Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution Ismail over an article in the party’s mouthpiece, Suara Keadilan , two years ago.

Justice Hue Siew Kheng in chambers granted Saifudin’s application to strike out the suit with RM8,000 in costs.

Counsel Puspawati Rosman, for Saifudin, cited the judge as saying, among others, that the court did not find the article defamatory.
