Monorail stalls again, 200 trapped

According to Bernama , KL Star Rail spokesperson Azha Ghazali said the incident happened at about 8.35am and passengers were transferred to other trains at about 8.55am.
No injuries were reported, he said, adding that the engine, air-conditioning system and lights on the affected coach were functioning properly.
Azha said services were resumed in 30 minutes and the cause of incident is still being investigated.
“On behalf of KL Star Rail, I apologise to passengers over the incident,” he said.
This is the second time in five days that the monorail services were stalled.
Last Saturday, 183 passengers were trapped in when a monorail coach stalled in front of the Siew Dor Flats in Brickfields.
Eyewitnesses said some passengers panicked after a while because the air-conditioning system failed, leading them to break glass windows.
It was reported that one pregnant woman fainted in the coach while two others suffered cuts from the broken glass.
