50,000 taxi drivers have received TR1MA vouchers
The government has given out vouchers under the 1Malaysia People's Taxi (TR1Ma) programme to 50,000 taxi drivers since it was launched last June.

Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) chief operating officer Azhar Ahmad said there were still more than 19,000 vouchers which would be issued in stages to the eligible taxi drivers.
"In Penang, 80 per cent of the 3,000 taxi drivers have received the vouchers," he told reporters at a breaking of fast with taxi drivers in Butterworth today.
A total of 1,700 taxi drivers received their voucher from Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Nor Mohamed Yakcop at the function.
