Puteri Umno chief Rosnah Abdul Rashid Shirlin said Sabahans must evaluate wisely the transparency and concern of the BN government, especially in setting up a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) to tackle illegal immigrants.
"We are confident the struggles of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and the state leadership headed by Chief Minister Musa Aman will lead to winning seats held by the opposition," she said.
She was commenting on the action of leaders from United Pasokmomogun Kadazandusun Organisation (Upko) and Umno in leaving the BN coalition in Kota Kinabalu today.
The deputy health minister said the setting up of the RCI with a term of reference (TOR) proved that the existing government understood the wants and aspirations of the people in the state.
Rosnah noted that the leaders who left BN had their own agenda, and that it did not augur well for the people.
She was also confident that the people of Sabah would not believe the latest promise, in terms of certain payments by the opposition, which was not supported by economic factors.
