YOURSAY ‘No one in your family needs to work for many generations. Don't ask for more. The rakyat may not be that forgiving.'

Mukhriz: Don't embarrass my dad twice

your say Swipenter: Is former PM Dr Mahathir Mahathir embarrassed at how his sons become multimillionaires and billionaire? Are his sons embarrassed at how they got their multi-millions and billions?

It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out how they got their wealth. Is the Mahathir clan embarrassed with how they accumulate so such wealth? Are they embarrassed of their mixed heritage?

Then why should Mahathir be embarrassed if Kedahans reject Umno and even you for what he has done to this nation, polarising Malaysians and making a tiny select few multimillionaires and billionaires through cronyism and corruption.

Sabahan: Actually, Mukhriz Mahathir, your dad not only needs to be embarrassed but to be taught a lesson. He wasted the future of Malaysia and he just cannot shut up.

Ksn: What an election campaign strategy, shameless. Using your father's name to beg for votes is the wrong strategy. Instead, you should, if you have some grey matter, tell the voters what you will do for Kedahans.

By the way, was not Kedah under Umno Baru when your dad was the PM for donkey years, Mukhriz? Have you for a moment reflected as why the voters rejected your father and his disgusting ways and policies which benefitted only the cronies but not the ordinary Kedahans?

PM Najib Razak, do you really think Mukhriz is a winnable candidate? If you have the power, Najib, do not nominate him as a candidate. But it makes no difference anyway.

By the way, let me put it this way to you, Mukhriz. Your dad should go through the shame you referred to a thousand times for the damage he has inflicted on Malaysia. Start counting as he will for sure be shamed - if he lives long enough.

Hang Babeuf: The only way for Mukhriz, and all Umno politicians, to stop embarrassing themselves and Malaysia is to stop talking rubbish, especially wannabe, bully-boy, intimidating, manipulative rubbish.

Wira: Mukhriz, your family already received a lot more than their rightful share of the nation's wealth. No one in your family needs to work for many generations. Don't ask for more. The rakyat may not be that forgiving.

CH Foo: Dear YB Mukhriz, I am a 57-year-old, retired professional living through the policies of Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Vision 2020 and ‘Bersih, Cekap & Amanah'.

Thank you for showing me the way of how to embarrass the someone who had done so much damage to a wonderful country in Asia. All along I thought he was so thick-skinned, refusing to seek repentance and forgiveness, and a very bitter man.

Centurion: Embarrassed? The father and sons do not know the meaning of embarrassment.

They conned, cheated and brought this country, once admired by everybody for its clean government, civil service and judiciary, to its knees, and now it is an embarrassment to the world and one of the most corrupted.

Mc Farland: Such comments only goes to show that this disillusioned MB-in-waiting has no backbone. He still needs his dad. We need leaders who work for the people, not for his father's glory.

Anonymous #18452573: They don't ask you to vote for a better Malaysia for you, or your family, or for all Malaysians.

But to vote for the sake of the beloved leader, supreme leader and dear leader Kim Jong-il, sorry, I meant Mahathir. Who does Mukhriz think he is? Kim Jong-un? And Malaysia is his family's empire?

I did not know Mukhriz had a deep appreciation for North Korea and a family-run communist state.

Anonymous #31061962: It is not love of individuals, it is for what they did and are capable of.

If one has digested the taxpayers' money in an unscrupulous way, then the rakyat will decide whether he or she should be shamed. People are educated and know what is going on.

I hope for once, justice will be delivered to the people.

Dood: Mukhriz, give you Kedah so that your dad won't be embarrassed? On the contrary, keeping your dad embarrassed is further incentive for us to never let you and your party's slimy tentacles get a hold on Kedah ever again.

Anonymous #02382443: It is not for the asking. It is judgement day, and the people have spoken once. They will speak again at next election.

You have admitted that the judgement was not in favour of your father. Your father and you must accept the reality - he has failed and must learn to be humble and accept the people's decision.

Good men: Oh please, give it a rest. We can't stand the lot of you and can't wait to be rid of you. You all belong behind bars.

Mat Salleh: Not a single comment in favour of Mahathir or his son... It's very telling, isn't it?
