Former Women, Family and Community Development Minister Shahrizat Abdul Jalil has been given until tomorrow as the deadline for filing her witness statement on her RM100 million libel claim against PKR leaders Mohd Rafizi Ramli and Zuraida Kamaruddin.

Kuala Lumpur High Court Judicial Commissioner Vazeer Alam Mydin Meera also ordered others involved in the case to file theirs by tomorrow.

The parties met the judge in chambers today.

This is the latest development in the defamation trial, beginning on Monday, of PKR strategic director Rafizi Ramli and PKR Wanita chief Zuraida Kamaruddin.

Shahrizat had filed the suit on Jan 19 over Rafizi and Zuraida's revelations in the National Feedlot Corporation Sdn Bhd fiasco implicating her husband, Mohamad Salleh Ismail.

Rafizi and Zuraida had in on March 30 filed a counter-claim against the former Umno Wanita leader.

NONE Yesterday Rafizi ( right in photo ) was charged at the Shah Alam Sessions Court with former Public Bank clerk Johari Mohamad under the Banking and Financial Institution Act (Bafia) with exposing the financial accounts of NFC, Salleh, Meatworks and Livestock Sdn Bhd and Agroscience Sdn Bhd.

Rafizi is  represented by J Leela while Gopal Sreenevasan appeared for Zuraida. Counsel for Shahrizat are from Shafee and Co.
