Seriously though, this is a case of shooting the postman and not the culprits.

From this, you can see which direction the purported charges will go. Also does the Criminal Procedure Code (CPC) apply to such enquiries by Bank Negara?

Lets be fair: Is the Banking and Financial Institutions Act 1989 (Bafia) also incidentally to protect corrupt practices in transactions?

A transaction has taken place, yes, but somehow it was found to be fraudulent; therefore is it legal to protect the culprits with this law?

The Whistleblower Act protecting the whistleblowers is supposed to be the last bastion of independence.

With this, no one will come forward to complain about discrepancies in their company or government department. This is what Bank Negara wants.

Jedi_Who: We now have a pretty good idea how the billions of illicit funds have exited the country since Dr Mahathir Mohamad's time.

Caripasal: BNM is violating its own act, the Bafia Act 1989. They are not investigating the prime suspect but going after those who expose illegal financial activities.

How can we expect BNM to safeguard our money? No wonder the number of white-collar crimes, especially those involving the cronies, is sky high.

1FunnyGovernment: It is bad enough when every little branch of the government is run by empty-headed nincompoops masquerading as professionals, captains of industry, etc.

All those have been revealed in just about every ministry, but now if it is ascertained that such nincompoops also occupy very important decision-making positions in Bank Negara, then I'm lost for words.

Caripasal: The National Feedlot Corporation (NFC) scandal had been going on for a few years before it was exposed by the audittor-general.

If not because of a few good guys, it would never see the daylight. BNM, were you sleeping when the NFC chairperson was happily counting his money?

YF: What is certain is that lawless gangs are now ruling Umno and everyone is unable to uphold any form of justice as these lawless gangs have some evidence to incriminate the other.

Politics is dirty and never has politics in Malaysia been so dirty that even the authorities set up to protect justice in Malaysia are now tools for Umno gangsters to protect themselves.

It's only a matter of time until the country falls into chaos. The violence is already showing.

Not Confused: Why Rafizi and not NFC chairperson Mohamad Salleh Ismail and his crony family? It's obvious, isn't it?

The Mohamad Salleh family is closely inter-woven with the Najib Razak government and not the opposition - that's why.

Still, have no fear, the intelligent, thinking rakyat are growing in size and will kick out the BN regime soon. Just be a bit patient.

Ex-wfw: I guess this the will of heaven. The more such actions are taken, the more those Malaysian fence-sitters will be drawn into some decision. Do continue with such actions, powers-that-be.

NMNT: First they have a law, then they come out with a law to protect the law and then go against the law, and finally replaced it with a law to protect the one who breaks the law, and go after people who simply follow the law in the first place.

Damn, I am confused... it can only happen in Malaysia.

Hmmmmmmmm: In this country, if you were to witness a murder committed by a well-connected person while buying pirated DVDs, you will be charged with buying the fakes if you report the murder. Meanwhile, the murderer escapes unscathed.
