MAS offers extra flights for school holidays

Malaysia Airlines (MAS) is mounting a total of 20 extra and 16 upgraded flights to various domestic and regional destinations in conjunction with the school holidays.
Malaysia Airlines (MAS) is mounting a total of 20 extra and 16 upgraded flights to various domestic and regional destinations in conjunction with the school holidays.
In a statement today, MAS said the flights, which started yesterday to June 10, 2012, were operated on routes covering popular destinations like Phuket, Kuching, Miri, Kota Kinabalu, Alor Setar and Kota Baru.
“The extra flights would provide an additional capacity of 3,660 seats while the upgraded flights would offer an additional of 972 seats, making it a total of 4,632 extra seats,” it said.
MAS said it would continue to monitor the demand and add more capacity on sectors where there were more demand.
It said bookings could be made through its distribution channels like www.malaysiaairlines.com, ticketing offices, Facebook, 24-hour toll-free call centre at 1-300-88-3000 and all appointed travel agents in Malaysia.
