The independent advisory panel to be set up to investigate the Bersih 3.0 rally in the federal capital on May 28, will be unbiased, said Home Minister Hishammuddin Tun Hussein.

NONE He said the panel would look into all aspects of the rally including allegations by the opposition that there were agent provocateurs embedded among the participants.

He told this to reporters after attending the launching of a motorcycle convoy in conjunction with Umno's 66th anniversary in Alor Gajah today.

Malacca Chief Minister Mohd Ali Rustam launched the convoy which will traverse several states before ending its journey at Bukit Jalil Stadium in Kuala Kumpur on May 11.

Hishammuddin, who is also Umno vice president, said the job of the panel was to find out what exactly happened during the rally, which descended into chaos and violence.

He also advised those sought by police in connection with the violence to surrender themselves failing which they would be hunted down.
