Dr M made me lose in last GE, says Samy Vellu

Do you believe this hypocrite? The reason he cannot go against Dr M is because the doctor must have a thick file on the misdeeds of this man. I just don't believe that it is because of disagreement over IPF (Indian Progressive Front).

Sangkancil: Samy's downfall in the last election was due to his arrogance. If you remember Samy said, even if the army came, it could not defeat him. Mahathir could have played a small role but Samy had forgotten the power of the rakyat.

He simply refuses to recognise the role of Hindraf. Now, Najib also underestimates the power of Bersih.

Ksn: Samy has said so many absurd things in his life but this one should take the cake.

The reason he gave is simply idiotic. It was the betrayal and bastardisation of the Indians during his donkey's years as MIC president and minister together with the RM100 billion man that caused his and MIC's loss in the election.

Even now he finds it difficult to admit that he betrayed the Indians for a long period in our history.

It cannot be true that the Malays let him down at the behest of the RM100 billion man. It was Hindraf who opened the eyes and minds of even the Malays, besides the Indians, to the crime Samy inflicted on the Indians.

Spoiled votes and the Malays not voting for him are pure nonsense. If the spoiled votes were deliberate, it must have come from his supporters who could not stand him anymore in Sungai Siput.

As to his comments about the present MIC, it was he who left it in its present state - dead.

Until 10 years ago, the MIC Indians fed off from your hands with whatever scraps thrown at them. They were entranced by the aura of your ‘warlordship'.

Many were aroused from this cult worship when they realised that their aspirations were getting nowhere. Hindraf was born out of frustration to champion the cause for a brighter future for the Indians.

By the way, the vindictive old man will not take too kindly to your allegation. Expect a lethal dose of venom from him soon that will kill off what remaining credibility you may have.

Dr Suresh Kumar: Assuming Mahathir was responsible for his loss in Sungai Siput, how is Samy going to explain the heavy defeat of other MIC candidates in 2008?

Come on Samy, don't kid yourself. Without the Hindraf factor, it was almost impossible to unseat you. Even with the present high rate of the Internet and mobile usage, there are lots of people who are still ignorant about the plight of the marginalised Indians, what more 10 years ago, where you used the MSM (mainstream media) and the Tamil print media to disseminate lies that all was well within the Indian community to deceive them.

You used thugs to silence the people, and in the process perfected the art of thuggery in MIC meetings. If you think, you can take advantage of the Hindraf internal conflict to vilify them and break them, then you got to be a fool, as Hindraf and P Uthayakumar are a different breed altogether.

In the end, even the racist, sexist and all sorts of xenophobes, still believe they are moral beings, they would try to justify themselves.
