Koh mum on senatorship which ends this week

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Dr Koh Tsu Koon is still keeping mum on his senatorship which expires next week.

The Gerakan president said it was not appropriate to issue any statement, especially to the public, until the date of expiry.
“I do not think it is proper for me to make any comment until that day, and I do not think it is proper to make any statement at this moment,” he told reporters when asked on the matter at the Parliament lobby in Kuala Lumpur today.
Koh was sworn in as senator on April 9, 2009, together with Women, Family and Community Development Minister Shahrizat Abdul Jalil.
Shahrizat has announced her resignation as minister, with effect from April 8, when her senatorship ends.
