The police have detained one of two men on suspicion of snatch theft and splashing acid on two women at a bus stop in Rawang last Tuesday.

Gombak police chief Asst Comm Abdul Rahim Abdullah said the suspect was nabbed at 12.30pm today, at his house in Taman Rasa Utama, Rasa, Kuala Kubu Bahru.
In the incident, two men splashed acid on S Rani, 46, and Nuraqilah Osman, 16, while the victims were waiting for a bus.
They also seized a gold chain worn by Rani, before fleeing from the scene.
Abdul Rahim said Rani, who sustained injuries on the face, neck, hand and chest, was warded at the Selayang Hospital.
Nuraqilah received outpatient treatment at the hospital.
