MB threatens to expose Pakatan 'hypocrisy'

The Perak government may declassify several documents pertaining to the tin ore project in Teluk Rubiah, Lumut, to point out the alleged hypocrisy of the opposition pact claiming to be champions of the environment, Menteri Besar Zambry Abdul Kadir said today.

The Perak government may declassify several documents pertaining to the tin ore project in Teluk Rubiah, Lumut, to point out the alleged hypocrisy of the opposition pact claiming to be champions of the environment, Menteri Besar Zambry Abdul Kadir said today.
The documents, which bear evidence of the opposition pact's support for the project, might be declassified if they did not cease their accusations aimed at causing unease among the people over the good reputation of the Barisan Nasional state government, he said.
"I challenge (Mohammad) Nizar (menteri besar in the previous opposition pact state government) to tell the truth.
"I want him to assume responsibility in telling the people that he too was involved in the project," he told reporters after chairing the weekly meeting of the state executive council at the Perak Tengah District and Land Office in Seri Iskandar.
The opposition had recently allegedly incited the people to oppose the tin ore project undertaken by Vale SA in Teluk Rubiah and claimed that Zambry had sold Malay reserve land to the Brazilian company.
The menteri besar said the opposition attempted to deny their initial involvement in the project.
