In the second Middle Malaysia podcast, writer and media consultant Oon Yeoh speaks to S Ambiga, former president of the Bar Council and co-chair of Bersih 2.0.
In this lively discussion, she talks about how Middle Malaysia is growing bolder and more willing to speak out.
And much of it, she says, is due to the government's mishandling of the July 9, 2011 rally of Bersih 2.0 - a coalition to campaign for free and clean elections - which she says "horrified" many Malaysians.
When asked about the likelihood of Bersih 3.0 rally, she says, "Don't rule it out". She explains what needs to happen before considering another mass public demonstration.
Ambiga addresses criticism that she is pro-opposition and answers definitively the question of whether she will be running for public office in the next election.
She also touches on two obvious shortcomings of opposition coalition Pakatan Rakyat.
