Vietnamese Prime Minister Phan Van Khai will visit fellow ASEAN members Singapore and Malaysia next week, state media said today.
At the invitation of his Singaporean counterpart Goh Chok Tong, Khai will travel to the city-state - the largest foreign investor in Vietnam - on Monday.
On Wednesday he will make the short hop north to Malaysia for talks with Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, the Vietnamese Communist Party's Nhan Dan newspaper said. His official visit will end Thursday.
Abdullah paid a brief visit to Vietnam in January, his first to the communist nation since taking office last year. Goh travelled to Hanoi in March last year.
