Pig's head found outside Sentul mosque

vox populi small thumbnailRR: Being the minority in the country, no non-Muslim would want to do such a nasty thing as throwing a pig head at a mosque. This is sacrilege.

No opposition party too will stoop so low as to play on the sensitivities of religion and ethnicity.

This is obviously the work of some bankrupt politicians who fear losing their seats in the coming GE. They want to create an atmosphere of fear and danger so that out of fear, people will retain them.

We call upon all right-thinking Muslims, who are the majority in the country, to consider that the culprits could be from within their own fraternity and they should help nab them.

Please do not bring bloodshed to this peaceful country for selfish reasons. God will never forgive these rascals.

Abasir: We know the hate-merchants in this country.

They have been at it for some time. We've heard them, we've seen them brandishing their pointed weapons of hate as they made incendiary speeches to cheering crowds; we've seen them tearing down pictures, burning them; we've witnessed them calling their opponents vile names, often referring to their religious affiliations to stoke hatred; we've seen them surreptitiously asking for the removal of 'offensive' religious icons when visited by political royalty; we've witnessed them violently kicking around the head of a dead animal to provoke fear and anger... and we've seen how they are then formally treated to tea and cakes.

Yes, we know who the hate-merchants are.

BujangSenang: May the skunk or skunks who carried out this despicable act be struck by lightning right in front of their parents who brought them into this world.

The authorities should stop these hellish creatures or else the people might take the law into their own hands and start meting out street justice.

Louis: All Malaysians should condemn this despicable act. To all Muslims, I salute you all for remaining calm. This is not done by your peace loving, fellow non-Muslim friends, but by some insane bastards.

Bluemountains: What has happened to the four people who were detained by the police in connection with five pig heads found near a mosque in Johor? No further action?

Dood: It's funny how in these cases, the police are very slow to act and are apparently clueless as to who is responsible and how to proceed.

Whereas in other cases (e.g. if a bomb were to blow up during a rally or if weapons were found at a mosque before a major demonstration) they are very efficient to the point of even making insinuations as to who the culprits might very well be.

Moontime: Somewhere, someone must be hoping and praying that the Malays will go berserk, do the 'amok' thingy and create chaos due to this dastardly deed.

Please get this into your thick skull: we are in the 21st century. Inciting people using animal carcass is so passe, pathetic and downright despicable. Why do they keep on doing this is just beyond me.

I really hope that the police will catch these culprits and charge them to the fullest extent of the law.

Anonymous_40f4: This is like hitting two birds with one stone. Throw a pig head into a mosque to create religious tension and employ a crony company to provide security guards.

Even schools are now employing two security guards, instead of one. This is another way of making crony security companies get easy money at the expense of the rakyat.

Nik V: The question all rational Muslims, Christians, Hindus and the rakyat of Malaysia need to ask, "Who benefits the most from the rakyat being disunited?"

GoneBananas: The only ones retarded enough to conjure such primitive and puerile black ops would be a tiny handful of military intelligence and Special Branch officers fiercely loyal to former PM Dr Mahathir Mohamad, whom they worship as a deity.

It's in Mahathir's interest to scare people into thinking violence will erupt unless they vote for Umno-BN.

Jedi_Who: How come the police are unable to catch those involved in the pig head incidents at mosques and the Anwar Ibrahim court bombing incident? It makes you wonder, doesn't it?

Teoh Beng Hock's family gets leave to appeal

GoneBananas: There is no doubt in my mind that the cruel, untimely and unnecessary death of Teoh Beng Hock was directly caused by PM Najib Razak's insistence that BN wrest back Selangor from Pakatan Rakyat.

From the moment he made a public announcement of his intention, the machinery to bring that about by devious means and grotesque abuse of the laws, began grinding.

Dr Mohd Khir Toyo, still smarting from losing the MB's job, needed to regain face and please his superiors in Umno.

Selangor MACC deputy director Hishamuddin Hashim, who happens to be on very good terms with the ex-MB, was the obvious agent for the black ops involving forcing signed confessions from a few DAP political secretaries that would implicate their bosses and allow MACC to launch full-scale investigations, thereby destabilising the Pakatan state government.

There is no need to be a rocket scientist to see through the entire evil charade. Hishamuddin and Khir Toyo must be held to account. And the psychopathic thugs in MACC must be sacked.

Loyal Malaysian: Najib, the rakyat will remember your "no stone unturned" pledge to get to the truth behind Teoh's death, made to the family of the deceased.

We will not be hoodwinked by the actions of your judicial division; we will take cognisance of the facts established and we will remember when we go to the polling booths come GE13.

Kgen: The quality and independence of judges in the Court of Appeal are totally discouraging. At least, there are still a few honourable judges in the High Court but the higher you go, the worse it gets as only obedient judges get promoted.

Hence I fear this will only drag out the saga with a disappointing decision at the end of a nerve racking, energy sapping appeal. The only real chance of justice for Beng Hock is when Pakatan gains control of Putrajaya.

Vivalavida: "In July last year, a royal commission of inquiry released a 124-page report that said Beng Hock had been driven to commit suicide by aggressive, relentless, oppressive and unscrupulous interrogation by three MACC officers."

Anything happened to these three culprits? Nothing. Folks, justice is in our votes.
