Traffic was reported to be generally smooth on the North-South Expressway although there instances of accidents at some locations.

According to Plus’ Twitter update, a lorry caught fire at 4.25pm at Km396.4 between Tanjung Malim and Behrang while an accident happened at 4.23pm at Km69.6 from Gurun to Pendang.
It said an accident happened at 2.31pm at Km134 from Juru to Sungai Dua but this was sorted out and traffic returned to normal.
Meanwhile, the Malaysian Highway Authority’s Twitter account said an accident happened at 2.27pm at Km186.8 between Ayer Keroh to Jasin but traffic reverted to normal after the situation was rectified.
According to its Twitter update, traffic was reported to be slow-moving between Sungkai and Slim River at 4.45pm.
