Syarikat Air Negri Sembilan Sdn Bhd implemented its five-day water supply contingency plan yesterday, to lessen the effect of disruptions during Chinese New Year.
Its communications and public affairs manager, Azlan Abdul Aziz said disruptions would normally occur during festive seasons due to the sudden rise in water usage and the plan will be in place until Jan 24.
“This is due to the increase in people returning home during the festive season. We will have static water tanks on standby and send water tankers to the affected areas,” he said in a statement in Seremban today.
The public may call 1-800-88-6982 or SMS 06-6033500 for further enquiries.
