Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan has welcomed the decision by the Attorney-General’s Chambers to file an appeal against the High Court's decision to acquit and discharge opposition leader  Anwar Ibrahim.

“My family and I would like to state here that with the filing of the appeal notice, my right to complain, as what has been stated in my police report in 2008, has been heard, and is going through the process of justice at a higher court.

“My family and I would also like to thank all for their support so that my right as a citizen to go through the justice process up to the Appeal Court has now been fulfilled,” he said in his blog mohdsaifulbukhari.blogspot.com today.

Mohd Saiful Bukhari said he would continue to pray and to be patient.

The appeal against the verdict was filed today.
