Ummi Hafilda Ali has urged her brother Azmin, who is also PKR deputy president, to reunite with his family that he had left behind to fight for Anwar Ibrahim.

She expressed disappointment with Azmin for his deviation, to the point of leaving the family behind, and not paying his own mother a visit during Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

"Where are your (Azmin) morals and neglecting your mother and siblings for Anwar is an immoral act.

"Don't speak of justice when you cannot be fair to your own mother by leaving her all alone for five months," she told the media after delivering a ceramah titled ‘Siapakah Anwar Ibrahim’ (Who Is Anwar Ibrahim) at Dataran Jerteh Souq which was attended by over 2,000 people in Besut last night.

The talk, organised by the Besut Umno division was also attended by Umno division chief Idris Jusoh and all Umno division leaders, including those from the Youth, Wanita and Puteri movements.

Ummi said her mother had called Azmin numerous times but neither he nor his family responded to her pleas.

In relation to that, Ummi decided to embark on a road show nationwide to save her brother from Anwar, adding that she would not stop until Azmin quits PKR.

She called for PAS and university students to review their actions and support for Anwar Ibrahim as it clearly would destroy the race, religion and the country.

"Anwar is an immoral leader and not worthy of becoming an icon for the development and well-being of the country and its people," she added.

Ummi also said she wondered how PAS, which was led by an Ulama, would easily be influenced by Anwar and Azmin to the extend that religious issues were compromised.
