The Barisan Nasional (BN) government is not cruel, does not cheat or lie but always find ways to upgrade the people’s living standard and welfare.

Pahang Menteri Besar Adnan Yaakob said lying is not the government way as the people will eventually know about it.
He said no government in the world is like BN which cares for the welfare of the people, including Felda settlers, who own land, house and get various incentives.
“What the government is doing today is for the good of the people and country and proven when the economy grows compared to other countries where the people are oppressed, poor while the countries are almost bankrupt.”
Adnan was addressing officers, employees and leaders of Felda Pahang Barat scheme in Temerloh yesterday. Also present was Felda chairperson Isa Samad.
He said the move to list Felda Global Ventures Holding (FGVH) on Bursa Malaysia is to expand Felda's activiites for the benefit of settlers.
“Thus, the claim that land belonging to some settlers will be mortgaged once FGVH is listed is totally untrue.
“Felda has over 300,000 hectares land given by the states and there is no reason why we want to mortgage settlers land. In fact, the various incentives given to Felda settlers are derived from Felda land and not from settlers’ land.”
Adnan said settlers should be grateful to Felda for providing them various facilities and incentives.
“Felda can no longer be dependent on plantation management but has to expand activities for the future of settlers.”
As such, settlers must have complete faith in Felda so that it can continue to thrive and get huge profits from the business to be undertaken.
