your sayPemerhati: Blogger RPK's (Raja Petra Kamarudin's) behaviour up to this point makes it pretty obvious that he has given up on his earlier crusade against the corrupt BN and its corrupt bureaucracy and has decided to join the crooks and enjoy the good life.

He probably reasoned that although he was fighting an evil and corrupt regime, he and his family had to endure unbearable pain and suffering at the hands of the evil and vindictive Umnoputra.

Most humans have a breaking point and a price at which they will compromise their principles. RPK probably reached that breaking point after his incarcerations, after his exile and after seeing the suffering of his son.

This factor coupled with an attractive financial offer, which the corrupt Umno could have easily made from its war chest of stolen billions of the people's money, would have changed Raja Petra into a Raja Katak.

However, Malaysians are still grateful to him for his earlier revelations which convinced them that the only way to save the country was to vote for ABU (Anything But Umno).

Anonymous_5fb: Well, RPK, you have lost my respect. Why can't you answer 'yes' or 'no' to such a simple question, i.e. "Were you paid for the interview in Singapore?"

Can I take it that you were being paid for your evasive answers? What's wrong if you just answer 'yes' if you were indeed 'paid' for the interview? After all, you are the chief editor of Malaysia Today. Well, something smelt fishy behind the interview in Singapore.

What does he want Selangor to do - give the legal work to Umno sympathetic lawyers so that they can sabotage the state? He can see a speck of dust on the opposition's shoes but ignores the mud and shit caking BN's boots.

RPK's responses to Malaysiakini show his arrogance. It's like Malaysiakini is not worth giving proper responses to, unlike Utusan Malaysia or New Straits Times, where he will go fawning over them.

Rick Teo: I think it's better you don't return. I fear for your safety. The ‘corruption' you revealed in Selangor is of no importance. Umno and the current government have been doing it for 54 years. This is called political patronage.

You expect Pakatan to give the legal work to Umno people? Surely Pakatan should look after its supporters and give work to those who support them This is not corruption provided, the fees are not inflated at the taxpayers' expense.

Umno is still doing it. So why didn't you lambast them? Frankly, RPK, you have been bought and I think you have lost all credibility. Better stay away because we don't need people like you.

Unspin: Please allow me to do an RPK on RPK: RPK was converted to an Umno sleeper not long after the police detained his son for petty theft.

As a concerned parent, RPK had to do something for his son, so a deal was brokered, like:

1) We release your son;

2) We will arrange for you to leave the country to avoid attending the criminal defamation and sedition charges - so that you do not have to implicate PM Najib Razak further; and

3) We will provide enough funds for you to live in the UK and have holidays in Europe, Singapore and Thailand periodically.

In return, we want you to say bad things about Pakatan whenever we give you the signal, starting with the Sarawak elections, Anwar Ibrahim's verdict, and any future "events" before the next general election.

If we win GE13 by two-thirds, you will be allowed to return to Malaysia with a hero's welcome and we will make you a prince...

Blogsmith: So many questions and yet pointedly, no answers. Here is one of them:

Malaysiakini: How did the series of interviews in Singapore come about? Did you request for the interview? Who organised it?

Raja Petra: There were no series. Only one interview.

RPK was asked if he requested for the interview but did not give an answer to that.

Mohd: One thing about this man is that he is such an arrogant sob. He believes that he is so perfect that he can't do anything wrong and even by saying that he will still want to have the opportunity to have the final say.

Salleh Nordin: The rakyat have more faith in Anwar, who remained with the people through thick and thin, although he faced serious fabricated charges compared with RPK, who fled the country with his tail between his legs upon a lesser charge.

Is this how a courageous political activist should behave? He talks as though he's been through hell when in actual fact his sacrifices are superficial.

JustChange: I'm speechless (by RPK's reaction to this Malaysiakini interview). He really deserve the title of King of Spin.
