A group of 26 Sarawak elected representatives led by the state Minister of Agriculture and Food Industries Adenan Satem paid a courtesy call on newly-appointed Deputy Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak at Putra Jaya yesterday.

According to one state assemblyperson who was a member of the group, the visit was made to congratulate Najib on his appointment as DPM.

Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP) president William Mawan and Minister of Social Development and Urbanisation Dr James Masing were also in the delegation

understands that the unresolved problems of the Sarawak National Party (Snap) and Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak (PBDS) were discussed.

"It also focused on the forthcoming elections and the latest developments in Sarawak politics," the source said.
