The people have been advised not to take gangster-like action such as splashing red paint at the MCA headquarters should they want to protest against the stand of party on certain issues.

 

NONE MCA vice-president Gan Ping Sieu said if the people had a different view they should channel their views based on the existing administration system and laws. 

"If the stand of the MCA leadership concerning the people's welfare has resulted in this incident, I am disappointed.

"We have a collective party stand on certain issues," he told reporters after officiating the 2011 8th International Health and 2nd International Tea and Beverages Exhibitions at Putra World Trade Centre today.

Police report made

On Thursday, MCA president Dr Chua Soi Lek directed the party's administration to make a police report on a red paint splashing incident at the door of MCA headquarters in Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur

NONE Even though there were speculations that the incident could be related to the party's rejection of hudud law implementation, Chua said he did not want to point finger at any parties.  

Gan hoped the police would arrest those involved in the incident so that the act would not become a practice for the people in the country who were not satisfied.  

"This is a democratic country, different people have different views it is very common ... so while we consider the majority, the views of the minority are protected too," he said.
