Selangor Umno deputy chairperson Noh Omar says he has "no knowledge" of the claim by his rival in the party and former Selangor menteri besar Dr Mohd Khir Toyo that three federal ministers are out to nail him for corruption.

"I don't know. I have no comment. You have to ask him (Khir)," said Noh in response to Khir's blog post last month that a highly placed party source had informed him that three ministers were plotting to have him jailed for corruption.

Khir was recently ordered to make his defence on charges of accepting inducements in the form of hefty discounts for a luxury mansion he owns.

NONENoh (left), who is agriculture and agro-based industry minister, told reporters at a Hari Raya open house celebration in Serdang today that he had "no clue" why Khir would make such an allegation in his blog.

Khir had said in his blog on Aug 23 that the move against him was part of BN's plan to recapture Selangor, which fell to the opposition Pakatan Rakyat in 2008.

Khir, who administrated the state since 2000, is widely blamed for BN's defeat in the general election.

Soon after the election, Khir was removed as Selangor Umno head, with party president and Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak taking over.

Noh, who is likely to be made menteri besar if BN takes Selangor back, was appointed Najib's deputy.

However, Khir did not name the ministers behind the "plot" against him, merely saying that word about the conspiracy spread after one of the three ministers told the other two that the plan would help BN win back the state.

"In this blessed month (it was Ramadan then), I would like to remind the three friends who are ministers in the federal cabinet to not go overboard in their attempts to get me," Khir said in his blog.

Khir is due to enter defence on the corruption charges in the High Court in Shah Alam on Sept 26.
