Kedah Menteri Besar Azizan Abdul Razak said he had not met PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang to discuss his health or replacement as menteri besar.

"But I will be going to Kuala Lumpur for the party's meeting on Sept 11 and would inevitably, meet him and others as well," he told reporters at his Aidilfitri open house at the menteri besar's official residence in Mentaloon here today.
Azizan said, news about him having suffered a heart attack in July was false.
"I went to the National Heart Institute for a regular medical examination as a follow-up every four months to my by-pass surgery, six years ago," he explained.
It was reported in the media recently that Abdul Hadi would seek an audience with the Sultan of Kedah over a change in the state leadership, in view of Azizan's ailing health.
