The weather on Hari Raya Aidilfitri, which will be celebrated by Muslims in a few days, is expected to be fine nationwide.

A spokesman from the Meteorological Department, when contacted by Bernama, said although some states in the northern peninsula might experience rain, the weather condition was expected to improve by Monday.
He said intermittent rain which was predicted to fall in Penang, Kedah and Perlis, as well as thunderstorm in Pahang and East Johor, would not cause flooding.
"The rain in Penang, Kedah and Perlis within the next two or three days will not be a continuous one and by Monday, the weather will improve," he added.
He said intermittent rain was also predicted in Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Kelantan, Terengganu, Perak and Sandakan, Sabah.
In Kuching, Samarahan and Kapit in Sarawak, as well as Sandakan, Tawau, Kudat and Labuan in Sabah may experience thunderstorm, he added.
