Attempts by the opposition to politicise the role of Felda at the next general election could not prevent it from continuing to progress for the betterment of society and the nation.

isa samad interview 150509Felda chairperson Mohd Isa Abdul Samad said the opposition had been using the same tactic over the years especially when the general election was getting near.

"They want to erode Felda settlers' confidence in the government. That is their only aim as they know that Felda has been the stronghold of Barisan Nasional all these years," he told reporters after breaking fast with Felda staff in Kuala Lumpur last night.

Replying to Felda issues raised by the opposition, Mohd Isa said: "We manage and think of developing Felda but they (the opposition) think about politics.

"We think of how to grow Felda so that the Felda community may succeed and  receive benefits, while they think of sowing hatred. These are two different things," he said.
