PM and wife: We don't wish to be your witnesses

1M: ‘Karpal (Singh) described Rosmah (Mansor) as very tense when asked questions and at at one point, she said, ‘Do not bully me, Mr Karpal.'"

As PM's wife, do you know how many Malaysian citizens have been bullied by the police? Do you know that prisoners are constantly bullied by the prison authority? Haven't you just heard that TBH (Teoh Beng Hock) was bullied by the MACC to the point of breakdown, leading to his death?

Have you heard of how DUMC was raided by Jais without any authority given? And now, you are concerned about being "bullied" by Karpal?

You know what, nobody dares to bully you, not even the PM.

Anonymous_5fb: Don't bully me? Who dares to bully you, Rosmah? Not even Najib, I think.

Besides, "We don't wish to be your witness" sounds arrogant to me. If the court allows this, then we would see many accused who are innocent found guilty, and conversely, many criminals will be found innocent, like what we see in Altantuya Shaariibuu murder case.

Perhaps if you volunteer yourselves as witnesses in that case, your bodyguards may not be found not guilty and spared the death sentence.

Good men: If Najib is so sure that Anwar did the dastardly deed, why pass up the opportunity to have the truth told in court? Why hide behind "I know my rights"?

For fear of incriminating himself perhaps? Scared of slip of tongue in the witness stand?

Fear God Not Man: It is so clear that the PM and wife are guilty, otherwise why must they be afraid to be witnesses? I don't have to be a detective to come to this conclusion.

Flabergasted: Dare to do, dare not admit.

Najib, Rosmah in court complex for interview

Geronimo: By now, the judge must have the guts to issue subpoenas on Najib and Rosmah, and I would like to see how much they "respect the court".

To all those in the defence team, blow them to smithereens with your never-ending razor-sharp cross examinations, that is if they appear on the stand. They know they are going to be grilled good and proper, and the heat is showing. That is why they copped out.

If you have not done anything wrong, why are you afraid to be interviewed? Anwar Ibrahim has the guts to face both of you, but you chickened out. It is quite obvious from this episode who is telling the truth and who is telling a lie.

Victor Johan: By going to school and meeting the principal in the office and teachers in the staff room does not constitute one had attended the class and studied.

Najib and Rosmah just turned up at the interview room. They did not subject themselves to the interview. What a joke.

AkuMelayu: To all the commentators - why comment when you have nothing sensible to say? Better keep your mouth shut rather than showing your stupidity.

Cala: Aku Melayu, the commentators in this forum are behaving in a rational way. You are not unfortunately.

To them, why should the PM of Malaysia meet Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan over the alleged sodomy? I read also Saiful claimed he met Najib because he had wanted to apply for a scholarship.

Mind you, Saiful was not the one with strings of As in SPM. On the contrary, he had strings of Ds. In sum hence, the comments you read herein come from logical and sensible persons, except you.

Freemsia: Alamak! I missed Najib and Rosmah again. I should have knew they were coming to the court complex. I definitely need to meet them to see if I can get a study scholarship.

Fairplayer: Their meeting with Saiful was two days before the alleged sodomy took place. And if I didn't read wrongly, Saiful actually went to them for advice about being sodomised - two days before the "actual" sodomy "took place".

Kosongcafe: This is just to fool the people that they have attended, but not interviewed. Form over substance, seem bold but cowardly.

Ezam's threats against web portals 'criminal'

Lexicon: If as expected, Umno, the attorney-general and the IGP laugh off this instigation to violence, arson and religious extremism, then all Malaysians will know threats of arson are acceptable for Umno leaders like senator Ezam Mohd Nor.

The authorities must have him arrested and thrown out of Dewan Negara, or accept that Malaysians will understand Umno supports arson in the name of religion.

There is no compulsion in Islam. But according to Ezam, there can be combustion in Umno's name.

Jeremy Ng: All the responses are what Ezam is hoping for. He knows that he has full protection from the authorities. Even if actions are taken, he will spin it to gain more sympathies as a 'protector' of the Malays and Islam.

1M: YB Dr Koh Tsu Koon, I'm glad you spoke up, but do you think you can bring this issue at the next cabinet meeting and try to convince the PM or Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein to order the IGP to take action against Ezam?

As an ordinary citizen, I feel unsafe after reading what Ezam had said in public.

Louis: To the authorities, no matter how seditious or racist are the remarks, they are never considered criminal in nature.
