Pahang Menteri Besar Adnan Yaakob has denied claims by the opposition that there is going to be a minor reshuffle in the state executive council (exco).
"The claims are just a political tactic by the opposition to confuse the people," he told reporters after presenting alms and hampers to about 1,000 needy, senior citizens, single mothers and orphans in Kampung Simpang Pelangai, near Bentong.
He said he was satisfied with the commitment and performance of the BN state exco members and its other elected representatives in carrying out their responsibilities.
"Admittedly there are some constituencies that need to be given more attention. We will work harder to strengthen BN's position in Pahang," he added.
Adnan who is also Pahang BN and Umno liaison chief, acknowledged that the political scenario had changed and that the views of the younger generation, intellectuals and other groups must be considered.
