Board has not received any booking for rally

Any events to be organised at stadiums managed by the National Stadium Board (NSB) must follow proper procedures, including placing bookings early.
A representative from the NSB, when contacted by Bernama, said the event organiser must also pay for any damages caused.

“For the time being, there is no ‘black and white’ from anyone to organise a gathering at stadiums under NSB. We will wait for a decision from the cabinet, if any,” said the representative when contacted to find out if the organisers of an intended rally had booked stadiums that belonged to NSB.
“Personally we in NSB hope the organisers of the rally would not pick our stadiums as the venue for the rally because we are worried that the place will be vandalised.”
The NSB manages the National Sports Complex in Bukit Jalil, Bukit Kiara Sports Complex, Jalan Duta Sports Complex and Matsushita Sports Complex in Shah Alam.
“It is not that we want to accuse anyone as vandals but we have heard that there could be violence during the rally,” said the NSB staff member who did not want to be named.
Chairperson of the illegal rally S Ambiga had after an audience with Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin at Istana Negara yesterday, said the street rally would be cancelled and replaced by a rally held in a stadium.
Today, Ambiga said the rally has been proposed to be held at the Merdeka Stadium from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday.
Pertubuhan Pribumi Perkasa Malaysia (Perkasa) president Ibrahim Ali had said that Perkasa would also hold a rally at a stadium while Umno Youth and Kelab Putra 1Malaysia had decided to cancel their planned Patriot Rally as a mark of respect to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
