your say'Retain the high moral ground. Don't allow them to bring you down to their level. If you resort to their level, then there's nothing left for M'sia but gutter politics.'

Anwar: Najib, I know what you did in PD

Black Mamba: Many innocent salaried people are used by BN to slander the opposition. It's not something they like to do given their conscience, but the family needs to have shelter, food and clothes.

At the end of the day for most people, physical survival outstrips the spiritual. Men like these have God to answer on their Judgement Day.

Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim was certainly right - he doesn't deserve the apology, as he, too, serves men. It's the Maker we are answerable to when our time comes.

Bertrand Russell: There is no stopping the onslaught of slandering Anwar has long as he is in the opposition. The BN government has the kangaroo courts, the rich and powerful cronies, and the mainstream media.

The only thing that Anwar has is the people's power which can topple BN and prise open all their corruption and abuses, though there are still some blind idiots living in an ivory tower playing his flute on some nonsensical notes.

Alan Goh: A wise religious sage asked his disciples: ‘What happens when someone offers you a gift and you refused to accept it - to whom will the gift be returned?'

The disciples replied: ‘To the person who offered the gift.'.

So when someone speaks ill or tell lies about you and you refuses to respond to their lies, to whom will the retribution return?

Kung Fu Guy: To Anwar and wife, be strong and have courage in the face of adversity. That's what great men and women are made of. Your enemies are using guile and sophistry to dupe others into their web of deception.

Just stay cool and calm and do not rage at them. Trust that truth will prevail.

Proarte: Anwar throughout his career in and out of Umno has made a habit of attacking his opponents' moral shortcomings, but always in a snide and indirect manner. If this is not 'fitnah', then I do not know what is. He has studiously projected himself as a pious Muslim with unimpeachable moral rectitude.

Such is Anwar's lack of personal integrity that he has to abuse Islam to give himself an air of moral authority. Anwar's Islam is all theatrics and choreography.

Najib has never projected himself as a moral person and has never latched onto Islam to enhance his political career. That is the difference between Najib and Anwar. Najib, with all the alleged sexual indiscretions, has yet to have in the public domain a videotape catching him with his pants down with 99% certainty.

With Anwar, there is, but like the emperor with his ‘new clothes', he has the diabolical capability to block it out and shamelessly lie that he is dressed in finery despite being totally exposed, pun intended. Pakatan Rakyat has to drop him.

Isa@1penyu: Anwar, if you had any evidence against him, you would have destroyed Najib & Company by now - that's what all politics is all about. You've lied so much and now you're talking and taking the high moral ground, but your speaking skills are the only assets you have.

Montie: Gutter politics is still not sufficient and the use of the court to further propagate their evil deeds is what the ‘Dirty Trio' were up to in trying to get redemption for their political misdeeds.

Who can trust BN? Who can tell it was not their leadership who is behind such heinous act? Come what may happen, there is a need for change in Malaysia. There will be no shortage of capable people to run the country better if Pakatan is given the mandate to be in Putrajaya.

Abil: There's a dearth of true leaders in Umno, hence the use of all kind of filthy tactics against one man. Yet, they miserably fail because truth is greater than falsehood. All the Umno leaders are really a miserable lot who have no morals at all.

Kee Thuan Chye: The media should now pose the question to Najib: "What did Anwar mean about knowing what you did in PD? Since he said it in the context of the sex video, it sounds scandalous. What did you do? Was it something scandalous?" Let's see what Najib has to say to that.

Justicekini: From PM Najib Razak's speech the other day, it look like he is asking people to view the sex tape and then judge for themselves whether it's Anwar. So Najib is actually asking the people to break the law over the screening of pornography, which is a crime.

Now all venders of sex videos can screen their ware, and if they get caught, it's only a fine of RM2,000.

20121221Disaster: Anwar must patiently wait until Umno is out of the government and the rule of law restored and a proper and independent judicial system is in place. Then that will be the time to bring those real culprits to court to face their deserved judgment.

Dingy: The Altantuya Shaariibuu murder case will re-emerge once Najib's government falls. The first thing to do is to remove the chief justice and attorney-general and replace them with credible people.

Then Najib could be brought to court to answer the charge as to why his personal bodyguards killed an innocent woman and blew up her body.

Good Men: I believe Anwar is right. Retain the high moral ground. Do not allow them to bring you down to their level. They are only fit to crawl on their bellies in the gutters and sewers.

If you resort to their level, then there is nothing left for Malaysia but gutter politics. Please retain some dignity for our country.
