Ministry not ready to reveal FB campaign breakdown

Ksn: Deputy tourism minister, if you have the details and if they are truthful and factual, why is revealing it to the public a problem? I have difficulty understanding and accepting your logic and reason.

Christine Yong: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) should also be investigated, to begin with. Anyway, they need time to doctor an accepted breakdown to convince the rakyat, the taxpayers.

FellowMalaysian: For whatever reason, tell me whether you think quiescent MACC will raise its heavy buttocks to attend to this? Get real guys, there is (and there always will be in this BN-led government) a clandestine connivance between MACC and other government-administered bodies.

This is just a farce, a sandiwara put up by them to deceive the rakyat and to cool down the heat and deflect the attention. Ng Yen Yen is another minister who has not only flip-flopped her way through the tourist guide issue, but has now managed to wriggle herself out of a hole.

If your expenses is legitimate and supported by official receipts and documents, there's nothing wrong in revealing it now. As I see it, Ng Yen Yen certainly has something to hide.

PSM becomes Bersih rally police target, 6 arrested

Disgusted: The police are bullies; they use their position and power to bully ordinary citizens especially Malaysians of Indian origin, and yet Indians throw their support behind BN as seen in the recent by-elections.

They call Indians pariahs, drunkards, etc, and yet they still get the Indians support. The latest trend seems to be using the Sedition Act as an excuse for everything whether the words and actions are seditious or not.

Geronimo: Just because PSM is distributing leaflets to urge the people to change the government, it is considered seditious? My goodness, how small minds work. Then the police might as well arrest 46 percent of the voters who voted against the BN in the last general election and charge each and everyone for sedition.

On the other hand, Umno had the audacity to display a banner calling a certain sultan "binatang", but the PDRM said it is okay, so no arrests. Simple deduction, the PDRM are not humans after all but mere robots specially programmed to harass the opposition parties.

Anonymous_418f: Most people respect PSM because they are hardworking and a principled party. The PDRM should instead be cleaning out those cops who are selling drugs part-time.

DAP questions 'political activity' ban ahead of Bersih

Adha NS: DAP claims that it has been holding its activities annually and without problems. So my advice to them, go ahead and have it.

Why do they need a police permit? Are you saying that during previous events, permits were issued? I'm quite puzzled here. I bet if DAP had not asked for a permit, the event could have gone smoothly.
