The second meeting of the fourth session of the  12th Parliament which is scheduled to end on June 28 has been extended by two days as there are still outstanding matters to be decided.

Dewan Rakyat speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia said Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak has informed the Parliament that the session will need two more days.

“This is required to enable Bills and other business to be settled according to the provisions of Dewan Rakyat Meeting Regulation 11(2),” he said before commencing with the Question and Answer Session at the Parliamentary Proceedings in Kuala Lumpur today.

According to the calendar of the Dewan Rakyat Session on the Malaysian Parliament official website, the current sitting is to run from June 13-28.
