There is no play to remove executive council member Hasan Ali from the state leadership council as yet, said Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim.

khalid ibrahimSpeaking to reporters in Shah Alam today, he said this is because Hasan was appointed on the advice of the Sultan of Selangor.

"His appointment was through the MB, but upon advice from the Sultan so we must respect that process... we have no intentions to reshuffle the exco line-up at this moment,” said Abdul Khalid (left).

"I accept the suggestion of our PAS friends but I believe the time is not right for (an exco reshuffle).”

Abdul Khalid was commenting on speculation that Hasan may be removed from the exco after he was dropped as Selangor PAS commissioner last week.

Asked if he feels that Hasan had fulfilled his duties as an exco member, Abdul Khalid said: "I will not discuss the key performance indicators for each exco member here but I can say that all of them have cooperated with me in implementing the state policies."

The PAS leader has previously been known to have gone against state policy and has been at loggerheads with fellow exco member Ronnie Liu of DAP.
