Mahathir discharged after 10 days in IJN

Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who was admitted to the National Heart Institute (IJN) on May 18 for a chest infection, was discharged at 5pm today, said his aide Sufi Yusoff.

He said Mahathir would be continuing chest physiotherapy and exercise at home.
"Doctors have also advised Dr Mahathir to continue resting to allow for a complete recovery," he said in a press statement here.
Accompanying Mahathir home was his wife, Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali.
