Effective today, the Sarawak Pakatan Rakyat (PR) has formed a 'shadow cabinet' to monitor the performance of state ministers and assistant ministers.
   
State Opposition leader Wong Ho Leng said the 'shadow cabinet' also comprised additional portfolios such as good governance, Native Customery Rights (NCR) affairs, women's affairs, national unity and consumer affairs.
   
He said the 16-member shadow cabinet comprised 15 Opposition assemblypersons and one PAS member (Adam Ahid) who was not an assemblyman.
   
"They must come up with regular reports on their portfolios to enable us to know the overall performance of the state government," he told reporters in Kuching.
   
The portfolios are:

Finance - Chong Chien Jen - (DAP)

Rural Development - Chew Chiu Sing (DAP)
Industrial Development - Yap Hoi Liong (DAP)
Public Health - Dr Wong Hua Seh (DAP)
Social Development, Women's Affairs - Violet Yong Wui Wui (DAP)
Public Utilities - Wong King Wei (DAP)
Infrastructure Development, Communication - Chew Wang See (DAP)
Agriculture - Ting Tze Fui (DAP)
