Lover Boy: MACC investigating officer Mohd Anuar Ismail, you say that you felt anxiety and fear because you saw TBH's (Teoh Boon Hock) photographs on alternative media.

Basic psychology will tell you that you only feel fear and anxiety when there is an element of guilt. In the same breath, you said that you discharged your duties properly. Now if you have done your job properly, there is no need to feel fearful or anxiety.

Anuar, I don't care how you feel, I just want to ask you this: the investigation was over allegations of corruption involving a sum of something like RM2,000. Was there a need to push Teoh in your interrogation to such an extent that you claimed he committed suicide?

I do not believe you deliberately killed him but the threat to kill is one of your interrogation techniques, and in this case it went very wrong. That is the cause of your anxiety and fear, is that not the case?

Pants on wire: What drama. Express your sadness to the deceased Teoh Beng Hock's son who will grow up without a father.

On your toes: Crocodile tears. Why fearful and anxious? Did you do something is wrong? If your conscience is clear, why do you feel that way, pictures of you with Teoh Beng Hock (TBH) notwithstanding. These questions should have been asked a long time ago.

You think it is fun to inflict so much of injustice on others just because of RM2,000? Mega-corruption is endemic in this country, and yet all MACC could see was the RM2,000 which was suspected to have been taken by TBH's boss.

That itself is an injustice and abuse of power. So why bother to shed tears now?

Cala: The late TBH was under Selangor MACC boys/thugs at the point he met death. The whole bunch of them should be held accountable accordingly for committing something criminal in nature.

The onus is on each and every one of them to explain his exact role in the interrogation of TBH so that pleadings for leniency may be considered on a case-by-case basis. This is the way to force them to tell the truth.

Somehow the MACC officers have not learned what go on in the minds of non-Malays even today. What they see is the life of a non-Malay is worth only a few thousand ringgit even if you want them to believe that there was evidence of false claims of state funds.

Non-Malays are/were aghast at the inaction against Umno politicians by the same enforcement agency when millions are/have been looted from state coffers and the GLCs (see the evaporation of billions of ringgit in Sime Darby).

Precisely due to this application of double standards that Selangor MACC loses all justifications to continue with their entrusted duties. In their minds, you have no more right to enforce the 'rule of law'. In their minds, you have not acted fairly and professionally as evidenced from TBH's sudden death. Repent, my friend.

Can I suggest that this witness of royal commission of inquiry be subjected to one round of psychiatric interviews, as I feel that he is withholding certain strategic information?

Swipenter: Mohd Anuar, did you feel the fear and anxiety of TBH when you and your colleagues were surrounding and interrogating him non-stop overnight? Did you feel the searing pain of TBH's family, his wife and unborn child upon learning of his tragic demise?

Do you understand and feel the pain and torment that his family, parents and siblings are still going through trying to find a closure to his tragic and needless death?

You just saw your picture with TBH in the media and you felt fear and anxiety and went crying to your wife for comfort. A person can get way with murder legally but guilt has a funny way of manifesting itself. No one get away with the murder of another human in his mind.


Leave Pakatan, Zaid tells PAS, DAP

Leo Antony: Zaid, you joined PKR with so much enthusiasm and were whacking BN and Umno, while wanting to be deputy president of PKR. When that plan failed, you showed your despicable Trojan horse self. We all remember that you were supporting Anwar Ibrahim even when the latter faced Sodomy II.

Since becoming Kita president, you haven't addressed major government blunders like Sarawak Chief Minister Abdul Taib Mahmud's stupendous plundering of state land, the rare earth plant in Kuantan, the many deaths in custody, Interlok, etc.

But you have attacked Anwar/Pakatan on practically every issue. Why? You can go back and do legal work for Umno.

Anonymous_3f96: The more Zaid opens his mouth, the more his credibility falls. I was once an admirer of Zaid but today am very doubtful about his motives. As a lawyer, he should be more careful with his statements. He should refrain from making any statements as he has yet to view the video.

Call me Jibby: Zaid Ibrahim, PAS knew about your alcohol addiction past and didn't even review its relationship with PKR. They even campaigned for you in Hulu Selangor.


Sikhs back opposition to stamping of Al Kitab

Lover Boy: To Sardar Harcharan Singh and the Malaysian Gurdwara Council, we thank you for taking a stand by the Christian groups in Malaysia over the stamping of the 'Al-Kitab' by the Home Ministry.

The Buddhist group has already stood in solidarity with our Christian brothers. We are now waiting for the Hindu Sangam group and we do hope that they stand with us in solidarity with our Christian brothers.

Alan Goh: There were no such problems in the 1960s, 70s and early 80s. In the 1990s when Umno's power returned, arrogance went to their head. For fear of losing power and ending their corrupt and easy way of life, racial and religious issues were constantly played up by Umno politicians.

The National Civics Bureau (BTN) was established to brain wash Malay minds into thinking that non-Malays are a threat to their survival. It is a good start that Sikhs have the courage to back the opposition to the stamping of 'Al-Kitab'. Hopefully, other Malaysians can stand up to be counted as well.

Black Mamba: Those who respect God and other faiths have come to a common stand - you do not deface holy scriptures even they are different from yours. To each his own belief - live by this motto and Malaysia will be a nicer place for everyone.
